The first pitch of the series with some green grass on it threw up some extraordinary cricket across the first two innings of the final Test.

We have become used to England’s Bazballers breaking the laws of cricketing gravity but some things hold true whatever the era.
One is that line and length on a green top, especially under cloud cover, gets its just reward. Or does it?
