Southern Brave has appointed communications agency New Reach to lead its public relations activity for the 2026 edition of The Hundred.

Southern Brave has appointed communications agency New Reach to lead its public relations activity for the 2026 edition of The Hundred.

The appointment will see New Reach deliver a comprehensive PR programme designed to raise the profile of Southern Brave.

The agency will provide a proactive press office, digital PR activity and strategic support around local awareness opportunities, building on its extensive experience. New Reach will focus on generating consistent media coverage, securing player and coach interview opportunities, developing compelling storytelling and expanding Southern Brave’s reach beyond traditional cricket audiences.

The appointment further strengthens New Reach’s long-standing relationship with Hampshire Cricket, having worked with the club for over four years.

Nick Rewcastle, Founder and Managing Director at New Reach, said: “Southern Brave has established itself as one of the leading teams in The Hundred, with a passionate fanbase, world-class players and a fantastic home at Utilita Bowl.

“We’re delighted to have been appointed to support the team during the 2026 competition and look forward to telling the stories that make Southern Brave such an exciting part of the summer sporting calendar.

As both Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave sit within the GMR Group, the partnership creates a joined-up communications approach across the organisation.
