Simpson and Academy duo get new contracts at Middlesex as Gus steps down

MIDDLESEX have handed contracts to wicket-keeper batsman John Simpson and rookie seamers Toby Greatwood and Ishaan Kaushal.
Simpson, 33, who has made 386 appearances for the club since making his debut in 2009, has signed until 2023.
Greatwood, right, and Kaushal, both 19 and academy products, have been handed deals for The Royal London Cup.
Unfortunately for Kaushal a pelvic problem has since ruled him out of the competition.
