WITH MOST schools in the independent sector having finished for the summer a couple of weeks ago, and most state schools closing this week, the school season has drawn to a close, apart from a few hardy schools in the south that extend their season into September. However, the finals of five national school competitions remain unresolved and will be settled in early September.
