Phil Salt’s unbeaten 141 took them to 304-2, the first instance of a Full Member making 300 against another Full Member in the format.

I was following the game as I was travelling up to Edgbaston for Blast Finals Day.
When I got the score up on my phone, I saw England were 80-odd for none after five overs, but you generally expect a drop-off and a return to something like normality when the openers get off to a flier. In this case, England just keep on going.
