Root Jnr is making the most of his big gamble on Glamorgan

THERE were times last week when Mrs Root didn’t know where to look – or which of her sons was going to reach his County Championship century first.
As Joe closed in on his hundred against Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl, his younger brother Billy was doing likewise for Glamorgan against Northants in Cardiff. Leaving mum with something of a dilemma.
