A Bridgwater too far: 91 from Thomas Rew wasn’t enough for Taunton St Andrews

THERE WERE runs for Thomas Rew in the first round of the Somerset Cricket Foundation’s Major KO Cup, but he couldn’t help prevent Taunton St Andrews going down to Bridgwater by 17 runs.
Batting first, Bridgwater made 221-7 as Ryan Thorpe launched 71 from 20 balls, smashing nine sixes, including six in an over.
