THE bad news for county batsmen is the fact that after a first winter off in more than a decade, Morne Morkel is feeling better than ever ahead of the start of Surrey’s season next week.
Last summer, Morkel was key to bringing a first County Championship title back to The Oval since 2002 as his 59 Championship wickets at 14.32 powered Surrey to the top of the table.
