Quinn calls correctly as Barnard Castle seal the title

BARNARD Castle took back the North Yorkshire and South Durham Premier League title they lost in 2017 with a final day victory over Marton at the Vere Road Ground – and left skipper James Quinn grinning from ear to ear.
Barnard began the day just four points ahead of Great Ayton knowing that even a win may not be enough if the coin toss went against them.
Under North Yorkshire and South Durham league rules a team that bats first can win up to 25 points, while batting second can only win you up to 20.
