LHUAN-DRE PRETORIUS made an instant impression on Test debut for the Proteas, becoming South Africa’s youngest Test centurion and the youngest player to make 150 in the history of the format in his team’s 328-run thrashing of Zimbabwe at Bulawayo.
The 19-year-old right-hander, fresh from a spell with Hampshire in the T20 Blast, made 153 from 160 balls as the visitors piled on 418-9 declared, with Corbin Bosch scoring 100* and Dewald Brevis making a 38-ball fifty, the fastest by a Test debutant.
