Patel rolling back the years in Huddersfield

EX-ENGLAND all-rounder Samit Patel is still doing the business with both bat and ball, having a dominant season for unbeaten Huddersfield League leaders Hoylandswaine.
Last weekend he took 5-46 in his side’s 80-run victory over Moorlands, his second five-wicket haul of the season, to take his league tally to 29 wickets at 17.34, and see Hoylandswaine to 13 wins from 14 games with one match abandoned.
But it’s with bat in hand where he’s been most prolific, having hit 586 league runs in 11 innings, at an average of 65.11 with three centuries, including a top score...
