One step closer to Team GB cricket XI at LA Olympics

A GREAT Britain XI could compete at the Olympics for the first time in 128 years after plans to enter a team at the 2028 games in Los Angeles moved a step closer this week.
Cricket is due to be played at the LA Games for the first time since 1900, when GB men took the gold medal in Paris. The ECB and Cricket Scotland have been in discussions to potentially form a new entity called GB Cricket which would oversee preparations and selection for the 2028 tournament.
