Somerset player becomes youngest international captain
A YOUNG Somerset all-rounder made cricket history last week as he captained his country for the first time.
17-year-old Zach Vukusic, who is part of the academy at Taunton, broke the record for the youngest player to captain their country when he skippered Croatia in the first match of a bilateral T20I series with Cyprus, aged 17 years and 311 days.
The record was previously held by Noman Amjad, who captained France at 18 years and 24 days, in 2022.
