New Farnley curse bad fortune

IT never rains but it pours for Bradford Premier League club New Farnley whose frustrating season continued as their attempts to defeat Cleckheaton were thwarted by rain.
Having dismissed their opposition for 93 thanks to Luke Jarvis taking a magic 6-15, Farnley were 38-3 in reply when the rain arrived and the match was subsequently abandoned.
It was another piece of illfortune to conspire against them, with their bowling options in particular having been hit in recent times with injuries to Ajmal Shahzad and Andrew Brewster added to by a potential issue for Alex Lilley.
