Nawab has years left in him after best bowling figures

NEW BRIGHTON skipper Mark Rowland praised the infectious attitude of veteran left-arm spinner Ashraf Nawab after he claimed career best figures.
The 45-year-old is no stranger to the wickets though, having become just the fourth bowler to have 1000 Liverpool and District league dismissals against Southport & Birkdale in May.
Nawab took 8-91 on Saturday as Lytham were bowled out for 214 by New Brighton to earn his side a 21- run win – their fifth straight success of the season.
