National Counties Trophy reaches quarter-finals

Captain’s knock: Harrison Ward led the way for Oxfordshire

WILTSHIRE, BERKSHIRE, Oxfordshire and Staffordshire secured their places in the quarter-finals of the National Counties Trophy with victories in the final round of group matches.
Although rain interrupted play in all four of the groups, all eight matches were completed with Group Three being decided on net run rate after Wiltshire, Berkshire and Devon each finished with three wins and six points on a day of fluctuating fortunes.
