EIGHT OF the country’s best clubs are in action today (Sunday 27) in the quarter-finals of the ECB National Club Championship.
Surrey side Ashtead host Essex’s Wanstead & Snaresbrook, with Ashtead captained by former England opener Mark Stoneman.
Birmingham League outfit Knowle & Dorridge take on Nottinghamshire team Cavaliers and Carrington. The Birmingham side are potentially able to call on the services of Bears seamer Ethan Bamber, while, albeit unlikely, both Farhan and Rehan Ahmed could play for Cavaliers and Carrington.
