Mark Butcher: Name changes risk undermining the Hundred’s good work

After the most successful edition of The Hundred yet, in terms of both the quality of cricket and audience engagement, there are a lot of questions to answer ahead of next summer’s tournament.
We have eight new sets of owners, and each will want to make their own mark on The Hundred in some way.

It has been reported in The Telegraph that this will involve some, or potentially all, of the teams changing their name.
Oval Invincibles, who last week took the men’s title for the third year on the bounce and won the women’s tournament in 2021 and 2022, are apparently going to be renamed MI Londo...
