MP opens up Benfleet clubhouse

WE’VE all seen Boris Johnson attempt to play cricket at a CricketForce event a few years back, and now another MP has got involved.
Rebecca Harris, who is bidding to be re-elected as Tory MP for Castle Point in Essex, was on hand to open Benfleet’s new £50,000 clubhouse in their first match of the season being played at their ground.
The Essex Premier League doesn’t start until this weekend but Benfleet got theirs off to a flyer to with their new clubhouse. Funding for the project came from The Veolia Environmental Trust, which awarded £39,997 t...
