IT’S A measure of Ben Mayes’ progress and age, that last weekend’s One Day Cup hundred against Sussex wasn’t the most important event in his life over the past seven days.
That came on Thursday and A Level results’ day.
Still just 18, Mayes has already enjoyed quite a year.
