Record breaker: Keith Roscoe took his tally to 1,817 wickets, breaking a 92-year record

RAWTENSTALL captain Keith Roscoe has long been a Lancashire League legend and he has now ensured his name is etched firmly in the history books by breaking a record which had stood for 92 years.
Roscoe’s first wicket against Nelson last Sunday saw him become the competition’s leading ever amateur wicket taker, surpassing the tally of Fred Duerr, who had held the honour since 1929.
