London clubs go back to school

HARROW School will play host to two Middlesex Premier League clubs this summer after offering their facilities to help ease London’s cricket pitch shortage.
Friends United and Harrow Willow will play four home matches each at the famous school, all on Sundays in the summer holidays, after being unable to source alternative pitches.
It’s a common problem in the capital, with space at a premium despite the good work of the London Cricket Trust –a charity supported by the ECB – to install facilities in the city’s parks.
