AN uncompetitive, one-sided series with minimal excitement got the ending it deserved when England’s final one-day international against Sri Lanka was called off in Bristol on Sunday.Eoin Morgan’s team had already wrapped up the series with easy wins in the opening two matches and they were set for a 3-0 whitewash when Sri Lanka were skittled for 166 before the rain intervened at the halfway stage of the final ODI.So, what did England learn from such a straightforward series against weakened opposition?
