An up-and-coming Kent keeper/batsman who can justify his place in the team in either role – Jordan Cox does not have to look far for a role model at Canterbury.
In Kent captain Sam Billings, Cox has the perfect man to look up to, and during a Second XI clash last week, he was even able to speak in a little more depth with his international colleague.
For Cox, a 17-year-old Sandwich player, the chance to learn from Billings is one he is keen to seize on.
