It’s all Wells and good in the end for Ben’s men

NOT FOR the first time, Durham were cursing the name of Luke Wells in their bid to defeat Sussex.
Wells notched his highest firstclass score of 258 against the north-east outfit in 2017. The 28- year-old came to the fore for Sussex in their six-wicket victory at Emirates Riverside, despite missing out on the fifth century of his career against Durham. Ben Brown’s men were in need of salvation after being reduced to 71-7 in their first innings after bowling out the home side for 224.
