Is it double standards?

THE furore that has been building in football over the past month concerning the England women’s team head coach Mark Sampson had me thinking about cricket.
Where have the controversies gone that had tabloid editors licking their chops? The ECB seem to be running a tighter ship than the FA and haven’t been too busy in the PR department since the forced relegation of Durham to Division Two. But then that measure was justified by the county’s £7.8m debt.
