FORMER YORKSHIRE and England U19 batter Mosun Hussain struck a double-century for Woodlands as 680 runs were scored in the day in their Bradford League clash with Bradford & Bingley.
The absence of injured skipper Brad Schmulian didn’t seem to have much effect on the Woodlands batting lineup as Hussain carried his bat for 216 not out from 162 balls, the home side piling on 352-5 in their 50 overs.
In reply, Bingley fell just 24 short, Callam Goldthorp making 139 as his side lost momentum towards the end, falling from 299-6 to 328 all out with nine balls remaining.
