Home boy Haines hoping Sussex can stick together

CERTAINTY HAS been thin on the ground at Hove this winter, but despite everything that has happened off the field at Sussex, Tom Haines is confident of one thing.
This is perhaps the most unified side in the County Championship.
Sussex beat Leicestershire in the opening round of matches, a win that not only kicked off their Division One campaign in the finest of styles but also wiped off the 12-point deduction imposed on them back in February.
How many of the players or coaching staff will still be at the club at the start of the 2027 season remains to be seen.
