AT THE end of the third day, Ollie Robinson had taken a total of 83 wickets in his 21st Test at 21.67 with a strike rate of 47.2, the best by an English bowler since Sydney Barnes in 1914. And his average is the best for an England bowler with that many wickets since Fred Trueman in 1965. Some return.
Robinson missed 24 Tests over 829 days for England, during which time 13 different seamers played for their country. And this season is the first for 19 years that none of James Anderson, Stuart Broad or Chris Woakes will be in the England set-up. Thank god for Ollie.
