HARPREET Singh Bhatia registered an impressive 133 from just 132 balls to help Barnsley Woolley Miners dispatch Wakefield Thornes.
Singh Bhatia, who a few weeks earlier hit an unbeaten 136 against Treeton, was the best player on the pitch, swatting away Wakefield’s bowlers.
And having played with Bruce Roberts, Martin Crowe and VVS Laxman, Barnsley Woolley Miners vice chairman Mark Beardshall, the former Derbyshire batsman, described Singh Bhatia as one of the most talented overseas players he’s played with.
