HAMPSHIRE young gun Tom Prest’s star continues to rise on the south coast, with former skipper Jimmy Adams backing the teenager to become a mainstay of the club’s batting line-up for years to come.

Less than a week after guiding the Hawks to victory over Gloucestershire in the T20 Blast with an unbeaten 59, the 18-year-old made his first-class debut against Surrey after James Vince’s midmatch England call-up after the Covid-19 outbreak in the one-day squad.
