County by County 2026 Season Preview – Division One – Hampshire

For a team that’s been used to competing at the top end of the County Championship table, last season’s narrow escape from relegation was a shock if not a total surprise.

A side shorn of James Vince, Mohammad Abbas and Kieth Barker (the latter for all but two games) for various reasons meant they were heavily relying on the younger brigade.
