ADNAN MIAKHEL, as seen on Freddie Flintoff ’s Field of Dreams, made his league debut for Newton-le-Willows in their Liverpool and District Competition match with Ormskirk last weekend.
It was a tough ask to start the season against the reigning league champions and one of the premier clubs in the country, Miakhel scoring 9 as his side were bowled out for 162, a target which Ormskirk chased down with relative ease to win by six wickets.
