I can’t remember any bit of pre-Ashes trash leaving me feeling as disappointed as Steve Smith’s riposte to a media outlet’s tweet on Jofra Archer’s latest injury.
“England paceman @JofraArcher terrorised Australia’s batsmen four years ago,” read the initial tweet. “But Steve Smith and co can breathe a huge sigh of relief after an update from England’s medical staff this evening.”
