It’s an Indian summer for the Championship

It’s been a difficult season for Northamptonshire languishing at the wrong end of the table in the first division of the County Championship. But, in between the bad weather that has interrupted the penultimate week of the season, there was some figurative sunshine for the county as they picked up three batting points for the first time in a lean year for runs.
