England’s win over the West Indies at Lord’s was a huge marker in their T20 World Cup journey.
They did it without their captain and best player in the world Nat Sciver-Brunt, and they shrugged off those demons from the last tournament when they played that awful game against West Indies which knocked them out. To beat them comprehensively, and qualify for the semi-finals in the process, felt poignant.
