KNOWLE & DORRIDGE are on the cusp of taking the Birmingham & District title after opening up a 17-point lead over second place Smethwick after their title rivals picked up only five points in a seven-run loss to Harborne last weekend.
Smethwick were bowled out for 142 in pursuit of a target of 150 as Andrew Sutton and Rayyen Khan both bagged four-fors. Knowle & Dorridge on the other hand enjoyed a comfortable seven-wicket win over Barnards Green, Ethan Berlusconi scoring 100 as they knocked off 256 in the 46th over.
