Deja-vu for Porthill Park

FEW things in sport beat a final-day showdown, but that could be exactly what we are heading for in the North Staffs and South Cheshire League.
Just a month ago, all looked done and dusted; JG Meakin had a 54- point lead at the summit, but fast forward and the race is on, with Porthill Park right back in the mix.
And to sweeten the narrative further, should both sides do the business in their remaining fixtures of the campaign, all will come down to a straight shootout between the pair on the last day.
