A REMARKABLE spell of bowling from 18-year-old Archie Davies was the difference as Formby beat Rainford by 15 runs in the quarter-finals of the Liverpool Echo Knockout Cup last Sunday.
Rainford were 57-0 chasing Formby’s 125 and seemingly cruising towards victory before Davies’ entered the fray.
