Cricket used to get kids active again

CRICKET is playing a central role in a sports festival in Victoria Park in London which is aimed at getting kids active again after lockdown.
The festival is being run by the London Sportif club and is socially distanced to ensure it is Covid safe.
The London Sportif club was set up in 2017 for children from Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham.
“We get all our children involved,” one of the club’s directors Muhi Mikdad said.
“We want to make sure they make friends and stay active after months of lockdown and get them out in the open every week.”
