Byrne re-signs after Meakin title triumph

NORTH Staffs and South Cheshire League Premier Division champions J&G Meakin have re-signed left-arm spinner Paul Byrne.
Byrne moved from Walsall and took 44 league wickets at an average of 14.16 as Meakins sealed their first title in four years.
Captain James Menzies said: “Following a great debut season, we are delighted Paul has signed for 2022. The addition of a left-arm spinner really brought balance to our line-up.”
