SOUTH AFRICA defeated Australia by 67 runs in the first ODI at Durban thanks to a brilliant ton from Matthew Breetzke (below). The Proteas star hit 112 from 106 balls as the home side posted 297-8 in their 50 overs and was well backed up by Marco Jansen who made 75. Australia were bowled out for 230 in reply, with Keshav Maharaj taking 4-20 with his left-arm spin. Captain Mitch Marsh top scored for Australia with 60.
