Billings gets his Invincibles off to fine start

CAPTAIN Sam Billings cracked a fine 49 off 30 balls to help the Surrey Invincibles men’s team follow their women counterparts with a victory in the opening Hundred game at the Oval on Thursday.
The crowd of 18,126 were fully into the occasion with many hundreds of them having gathered in the local pubs before the start.
They saw the Invinci- ble post 145-8 thanks to a late sortie from Tom Curran with 29 off 18.
