Big hundreds put Oxford in total control

MATTHEW Naylor’s double century for Oxford and skipper Daniel Escott’s 175 put Oxford on the brink of a thumping victory in the Varsity match at The Parks.
Oxford smashed 533-7 before declaring thanks to an incredible 267-run partnership between Naylor and Escott, despite neither hitting a six.
Naylor’s double ton was the first in the University Match since Salil Oberoi for Oxford in 2005, as he hit 24 fours to tally up 202 runs on a memorable day.
