Champions: Berkshire celebrate their 2017 success - one of their four Minor Counties successes on the trot

THIS should have been a landmark year for National Counties’ cricket, not just because of the historic rebranding of the competition but also down to the fact that Berkshire could have completely re-written the record books, writes RICHARD EDWARDS.
The premier National County have recorded four wins in a row in the National Counties Championship - a record which puts them level-pegging with Devon, who did the same between 1994 and 1997.
