IF T20 cricket is all about excitement, then Birmingham Bears have the perfect recruit in batting all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme – that’s according to sport director Ashley Giles.
The New Zealander has committed to the Bears for the duration of this summer’s T20 Blast and heads to Birmingham as one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket.
In fact, De Grandhomme – who will also contribute with his nagging seamers – boasts the highest strikerate of any T20 batsman in the professional game, at 171.04 across his 100 matches.
