Batting Bairstow so low is plain stupidity

SOME facts: Jonny Bairstow has spent 42 of his 73.4 overs at the crease in this Ashes series batting with a bowler.
His Test batting average is touching 40, third highest in this England side behind Cook and Root. He hasn’t batted higher than seven so far this series, despite the fact THREE of England’s top five have never hit a Test century.
This is stupid.
