Ireland’s Test captain Andrew Balbirnie gives TCP the lowdown on his squad to face England next week

Balbirnie: “When we played at Lord’s, he went under the radar a bit because Tim Murtagh [who took 5-13 in a stunning opening session] did so well. He always wants the ball in his hand. If there’s a tough situation, he’s the kind of guy who wants that challenge and he’s never been shy to step up to the mark.”
