At last, Liam is making a name

WITH almost four years separating his first two List A matches, Lancashire’s Liam Hurt has spent a lot of the time on the country’s motorways trying to find someone to give him a chance.
Having made his debut for Leicestershire against Durham in 2015, the then 21-year-old paceman thought he had the breakthrough he needed to follow his dream but was not offered a deal. What followed was thousands of miles in the car with his bowling spikes and kit bag for company as he pushed for a professional deal.
