Another first for Redfern

SUE Redfern is to become the first female umpire to stand in a men’s firstclass match in England after being asked to stand in the Championship game between Glamorgan and Derby next week. Redfern, who became the first full-time professional female umpire on the ECB list last year, was also the first woman to stand in a Blast match back in June.
